Snazzy Annie is Elaine Christmas Weedy, artist and maker living and working in Lancaster, England.
Since graduating in 1990 with a BA Hons in Visual Arts most of my work has been textile based. I love all textiles and see creative potential in the smallest scrap. I know I am not alone! A particular attraction to wools and tweeds coupled with the girly quest for the perfect bag has resulted in quite a comprehensive collection!
For example; the surprise arrival of a second daughter lead to a desire for a hands free but easily accessible bag that would accommodate buggy pushing, hand holding, coat carrying and the like. And so the satchel came about. Daughter is now nearly seven and the satchel is still my own personal favoured style, it gives you hands free to carry a Snazzy Annie Shopper as well!
