Each Snazzy Annie bag is unique; named and dated and carefully constructed from my own designs.
I love to use beautiful wool fabrics rescued from clothing such as Harris Tweed jackets and Welsh tapestry in particular. These reclaimed fabrics are supplemented by bought fabrics and all are 100% wool. Bag linings are either wool or cotton.
What if it’s raining?
Your bag will be fine. The Old Farmer on the hill never worried about a bit of drizzle on his tweed jacket. He knew it was up to a bit of wind and weather. Your bag is made of similar sturdy stuff.
Can I wash my bag?
Your bag is pretty tough and will stand the rigours of regular use. If you feel you would like to wash it a gentle hand wash or machine wash on the delicate wool/silk cycle with a liquid wool wash should do it no harm.
Can I have that style but in those fabrics?
Unlikely I’m afraid. I construct the bags making optimum use of available fabrics, often reclaimed from garments. Each bag is made with careful consideration to each piece of fabric, its size, colour and texture and putting it together is my art!
